BioMy journal is for my writing and to get my name out there as a poet. Hopefully somebody will read my stuff and enjoy it. I'd also love to get published. So Im going to put all my poetry and shorts stories on this site as well as updates on the stuff I submitted to various poetry magazines. I also hope to kind of make this a very personal website and have people come here when they think of me. I will also put in things that happen in my life as well as funny stories and the like.
My name is Andrew Nichols and I was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 28th, 1987. My family moved when I was young to Athens, Georgia. It was there that I grew up and was raised. Athens is a rather atypical southern town, and any southern flavor you may view in my writing or personality was picked up from my grandparents or cousins who live in Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama, and North Carolina.
As I have said I want to be a professional writer or a spanish professor. I am currently majoring in Spanish and Romance Languages at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.
